Community Groups are small groups of 5-6 couples or 8-12 individuals who meet to be encouraged and equipped in their relationship with God and with the people He has placed in their lives. Community Groups meet in homes at least three times a month for Bible study, prayer, friendship, and support.
New Community Groups are formed during our GroupLink events, at which people are connected with others who live in the same geographical area and share similar stage of life. Those who wish to continue commit to meet for the next 6-8 weeks in a starter group. This is an opportunity for participants to "test drive" a small group experience. At the end of the starter group, participants can choose to continue for the next 24 months, or decide not to continue no questions asked.
Community Groups are closed groups, meaning that once a group is formed, no new members are allowed to join without the group's consent. This creates a predictable small group environment for people to experience authentic community and spiritual growth.
